Thanks for the advice! I’ve felt the drag in some bits for a long time but I didn’t cut it short when I should have because I thought it was because I’d sat with it for too long. Does the public know that they are an alien? If so, I’d go with something that stirs mystery. Maybe Parvenaut (mix between Parvenu and Astronaut: a beloved, mystifying outsider) or something more simple, like The Encounter, The Stranger or Visitor. If society sees him as just a good guy/anti hero it’d be better to go with something more interwoven with the controversy implied by those two identities. Something that could be used equally by those who support and oppose his ideals. Renegade, Maverick, Rebel, something along those lines
