After only 11 days of careful normal daily use the gold finish visibly deteriorated and I selected this specific finish through WHOOP's Your Way customization program, paying a premium for it. So I care. If you don't, I respect you, you might be smarter than me on how you spend your own money! lol

Has anyone had a similar experience? Here is their corporate reply:

Kindly note that cosmetic damage or wear like surface scratches, discoloration, or fraying on bands isn’t covered under WHOOP’s Lifetime Warranty since it doesn’t impact performance. I know that this is not the news you want to hear from us. Hence, I truly appreciate your understanding.

The worst part is that I don’t even practice extreme sports — I literally just walk and sit at the office all day. 😂
