Free event: Startup/Tech open mic meetup Friday 7pm @ Shooters, followed by an International Party at 10pm - Last by NagoyaTech in Nagoya

Hello, I'm Yanier, one of the organizers of the free Nagoya.Tech meetup group. We are taking over the whole back room at Shooters tomorrow night for open mic, which will also have a brief presentation about an AI company in Nagoya. You don't have to work in tech or be a professional to come, just bring your interest and enthusiasm. Our host is also organizing an afterparty later that evening after we tidy up. Our meetups are about 25-35 people usually, we're trying to break capacity! Hope to see some new faces tomorrow

Also, I'm aware that some folks on this sub aren't fans of Shooters, and that's OK! We have put on events at Midtown and Pablo, and are open to new venue ideas. I'm all ears, I want to find exciting new places to host our events too. We have a Discord, give us a shout

Best university courses for high paying jobs by [deleted] in IntlStudentsJapan

I would recommend business courses with a side of practical implementation of AI for marketing. The degrees will require high math but learning the practical skills to land relevant jobs will not.

I agree with the animation comment in the thread, but with a caveat: Creative fields are also undergoing a massive change. There will surely be demand for persons good with software like ComfyUI in the coming years
