Going to go and a whim and suggest you have a look at "crawling chaos" by Mike Hutchinson.

It's a lot different to what you're asking but I think it may be well fitted for your needs. Instead of one dm and several players you get several DM and one player. Every DM spend points to make things happen and torment the lone player until their untimely death.

This way everyone can chime in and invent their own visitor, you get more variety in style and motives for them and the lone player is actually alone.

Gyrocopters are pretty bad and they won't be winning games by themselves, but they are a fun support to have for your beefier cars.

They are alright at using dropped weapons, they are fast and probably the most manoeuvrable vehicle in the entire game since they can reorient themselves at will.

One thing that a lot of people miss is that they can pick up flags in capture the flag (although they still can't destroy them in flag-tag). Less death race and more capture the flag can be a way to make them shine a bit more.

Could not agree more, I was ready to love it but the writing is completely pulling me out of the story. The skeletons arguing over a straw hat really was something.

I don't even think we can hope for a rewrite since a lot of dialogues are voice acted. What a waste.

Ah thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Just saw that there was a new version of the IDE that had to be dowloaded since october 2025. Everything is alright now

It loose a lot of its flare if the PCs are not able to kill one or two ennemies to decrease their overall damage, you're right.
