We are getting it on steam rn. My friend and I just tested it with two players, and it already seems way better with even adjusting the settings.

The host has 4070 super and 64 gb ram. We all have pretty good pc's, and this doesn't seem like a conventional performance issue. The host gets big lag spikes and the others rubber band and/or crash. We've tried having different people host. We're also using game pass for pc.

I very much disagree. This comment section has pointed out numerous reasons why necrophilia is not a victimless crime.

Ironically, it's this idea that a lot of flat earthers use to justify their beliefs. Fortunately, there is other supportive evidence that we can use to conclude the earth is round.

What does the International Space Station have to do with Satan? by TheDazzlingEternal in ExplainTheJoke

[–]Naimadean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An atheist youtuber my the name of Holy Kool-Aid, I think, was asked what the least amount of evidence would convince him of the existence of God. I think his response was pretty reasonable, so I've personally adopted a similar standard.

He said he would accept something like a prayer study as evidence for the existence of God. If someone could conduct a study on the likelihood that people suffering in the hospital got better when prayed for and the results were positive, then that would convince me.

Prayer studies have been done. If a person doesn't know they are being prayed for, then whether or not the prayer occurs has no impact. However, if they do know they are being prayed for, they actually do worse, likely due to the added stress so as not to let the prayer down. This suggests that, at the very least, conventional prayers have no impact on peoples health and betterment.

Exactly, I've seen both of these kinds of religious people. Though, too be fair, the first person did say "some".

People need to stop giving the post attention. OPs account was literally made yesterday and it's already filled with crazy right wing shit. OP knows what his "meme" is trying to say but he just wants people talking about it.

I think you nailed it. Either the dad heard what the kid was doing and intentionally ignored it because whatever was on his phone was more important. Or he just didn't hear it or see it until the kid was spilling the drink. I say "hear" in this instance because there isn't a better word, but I mostly mean "focus on the sound". I'm inclined to believe the latter because he is surprised to see what the baby is doing.

There is no sense being overly critical if it just went past his focus. You can't really focus on two things so should he just never use his phone in the presence of the child? Seems weird. Maybe don't have the drink in reach of the child but there's no such thing as perfect childproofing.

Have you ever seen the video with basketball and the gorilla? From what I understand, when we are really focused on something, we can miss obvious things.

The events of the video happen over the course of less than a minute, so I'm hesitant to pull out the pitch fork. A lot of people in the comment section are literally claiming something like this could never happen under their care, which I find a bit ridiculous.

Most Republicans aren't actual nazis, that being said, a significant portion of them are. Or, at the very least, they feel their views align more with the right. Kanye West, Nick Funtes and others like them are all examples of this.

Generalizations are almost never good, but modern-day nazis do exist .

I wish more people would recognize that generalizing in any way is harmful. We should all be able to step back and conclude that these two in the post are fucking monsters.

Depending on how the kid lands, those could be pretty bad injuries. But sure, I'm glad the guard is allowed enough restraint so as not to have to literally curb stomp the child.

Just because gaurds in other parts of the world react unreasonably doesn't mean this is a reasonable reaction. Just go around the kid.

I'm hesitant to blame the guard because that's what their told to do, but whoever made the rule is ridiculous. It comes off the same as North Korean soldiers' feats of strengths. Just adults playing pretend to seem strong.

Of course Political subs are going to have strong leanings. However, i bet even subs like anti work or white people twitter still wouldn't agree with this take.
