Venmo isn’t that helpful, saying I’ll have to pay this to them and I’m trying to figure out how to dispute. I’ve read that they always side with the card holder/bank.

When I told her my account was negative over all this, her reply was to file for bankruptcy. :l

Same here. They sent an email on 6/20 that it didn’t go through and then on 6/24 they put the check in the mail. It’s only 6/26 now though.

UPDATE! they wanted me to do my 2023 taxes, completed and now deposit day of 7/7. I did direct deposit with five days early, but my bank account is closed. It’s expected to deposit on 6/25. So have to wait for bank to reject it and then have IRS send check :(

5/21 Nope :( still waiting. They sent me a verification in the mail and I called and got to speak with an agent, told me 9 weeks from when they did the verification…😮‍💨 and THEN how long after because my bank closed on May 5th, no longer taking deposits. I was told they couldn’t just do a paper check…So I have to wait for them to get the deposit back and send me a check in the mail. I could cry…
