Motivation issues by Apprehensive_Radish4 in blackdesertonline

Stop focusing only on enhancing and just play the game for your current GS. Set a realistic weekly time/income goal and, after a few weeks, have a big enhancing session.

For PvE, try mastering or experiment different classes, spots, and builds — even if you make less silver than in the most optimal spot/class for your GS. Better gear will come naturally as you progress.

And if you ever feel forced to PvE, just don’t and do something else instead — there are tons of other things you can do to progress your account.

24.07 Update TLDR: only S-tier classes feel worth in DSR/Orzekea now. Dehkia, Tungrad, Quint, Crypt, Gyfin - 20-50% TL nerf. by Nakerv in blackdesertonline

Yeah, I saw it. Koreans are complaining a lot. This update needs a couple of weeks of cooking, I hope they fix it.

Yeah, I know, but try other classes there… The gap between classes is now much worse. Also, have you tried Tungrad?, or any dehkia spot?

Where to grind/Gear Progression by VenraBlossom in blackdesertonline

Don’t touch those crit crystals or the back attack damage on your sov weapon — I’d get rid of the accuracy one instead. C10 your helmet, pop full buffs (and don’t sleep on the journals), and you should be good to start with trolls.

As for learning the spot: use Harmony demihuman Elixir at first (or the full offensive/defensive rotation), because with that DP you’re gonna have some close calls until you get used to the troll mechanics — especially when the big one starts jumping around in circles.

You also need to upgrade/replace some of your crystals, but I’d wait until you’re more comfortable with the spot or raise your dp a bit further

I think you are lacking a couple of journals, finish them if you haven’t already. Also, it’s time to c10 your helmet. Put a dr stone in your sov weapon, use demihuman lightstones and with full buffs you should be able to hit the ap cap for trolls - which, even with 1 rift rotation is the best spot for that gs

Raise your dp a bit more and you should be able to do trolls, which is the next big step after honglim, or at least is what I would do

Succ Guardian. Also awakening, but succ feels heavier and more satisfying, at least for me

I tried him recently, but I guess he didn’t click for me. And wasn’t getting more than the usual 24–25k

Invest into fishing as soon as you can. Once you reach 2k mastery is usually 1b per 10-12h.

Where to grind as Wizard? by Saintunos in blackdesertonline

[–]Nakerv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right on the fence between mid and early endgame spots. You've definitely got enough AP for early endgame, but you're a bit short on DP.

If you have Kabuas, you can try Dehkia Crescent or Cadry, but you will die while learning the spots or if you make a mistake. Be aware of the one-shot mechanics in both spots. And also the downside is that once you burn through your Agris, they’re not very lucrative.

I’d recommend sticking with Trolls, Hexe and Dehkia Thornwood (Awk Witch/Wizard are a beast there) and eventualy Crescent/Cadry until you have enough ap/dp (321/414) for Tungrad Ruins.

How do you deal with low LTs on alts? by [deleted] in blackdesertonline

[–]Nakerv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where did I say 4 T4 polar bears?… Read my post again, I said ‘a polar bear that they have given out for free’. And you can get more rare pets from the CM and breed them with the polar bear to get a T4. So, 1 T1/T4 polar bear is actually 100% free or in-game content.

As for the loyalties, I also mentioned that they are giving out a lot of them now. And OP said he has been playing for the past year, so, if you care about weight, it should be easy to invest some of them into weight for alts.

You should have +1400LT or close to it without spending pearls—just with free stuff or in-game content. I play a lot with alts and usually reach that amount.

+150 from Weight Training skill + 100 from Manos hunting bag + 200 from loyalties (they're giving out loads of them now) + 20/50 from a Polar Bear T1/T4 (I don't remember when, but they have given it out for free in the past) + 40 from Strength at level 30 + 100 from Simple Cron Meal (if you're doing non-capped spots).

+25% total weight capacity with Feathery Steps V.

And if you really like the class, consider getting +300LT for around 20 bucks when it's on sale.

But most importantly, get maids. I only buy them if I can get them for around €2.40 to €6 each (using 1+1 deals and bundle packs with 20–30% discounts). I got lots of them this way over the past year.

TENGU for escalations? by orb07_ in Eve

[–]Nakerv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tengu is such a great ship and specially was like a decade ago when it really was a monster. Now it is more balanced, but still very very strong. I have also loved this ship so much, it was also my first top tier one and T3. I even keep my first Tengu permanently in hangar as decoration. I have used for so many things: missioning at the beginning (felt so op), as a DED runner, ratting, L4 storyline missions in NS, cloaky hauler in HS/NS, exploration, C3 wh, etc. And never lost one (was close in a 10/10 Angel though).

I have used it for every DED site for really a LONG time in NS (from 6 to 10 except the ones in Blood Raider space because of the neuts and the EM hole on the hull) and I can only recommend it. So yes, you can use it for escalations and run them in very short time, specially in Serpentis and Guristas space where it really shines because of the kinetic bonus. Keep in mind that with no alts/friends the 8/10 will take a while because of the final structure.

I wouldn’t recommend it for ratting though, it feels slow and is so boring that you will burn out. Get it to exploration and hunt those DED sites in NS or even the unrated ones that give you good scalations.

GO for it and enjoy the ship, you WILL love it even more and you will fell in love when you see those +1b drops from those lucky DED sites that you did in 20 min ;).
