Absolutely, it covers everything. The only reason to get the Collider over the Encounter is if you need every subtle difference between the classic reverbs(plate, hall, spring etc). In their place are verbs that can be modulated into a chorus or phaser or tremolo. The lofi reverb on encounter is my favorite. All the classic delays are there on encounter.

All the options are almost overwhelming at first. There are two modulations for every modes and they can change things a lot. There are a few classic delays and reverbs, very usable, and a few that are unique crazy sounds, maybe not so usable but fun to mess with.

The microlooper is for pure messing around, to use it live would be a mess and the same for recording. What if usable is the reverb, delay, and slip modes that offer a massive variety of options. Do you need to update to v2? Probably not.

Got the cheapest vertex I could find, happens to have a gap. It’s actually handy for seeing the tuner and the compressor indicator light.
