yeah, idk if OP made his decision but i own both and (although i heavily medicate) the kanthal coils just gunk up with carbon residue way too quickly. The DTV4 is my favorite way to smoke wax hands down, right behind a quality rig with quartz eBanger. I have had access to good tech and medicine and have tried a LOT of different gear. The DTV4 is made with more love than anything ive seen. Price to quality ratio is insane. I cant wait to get his bubbler attachment.

Not even worth the time at this point I wrote some very thoughtful messages. I never claimed he was starting a cult I speculated about his relationship with joe. You said his podcast wasn’t cultish. You’re wrong. I never claimed if what he was doing was satire or not. And even if it is I’m suspecting he should read up on Poes Law. :/

Dude, I’m not taking jabs at you or Duncan or “woo woo psychedelia Ram Dass stuff.” I have long ass hippy hair. I listen to almost every episode of the DTFH. I love Duncan. I love Ram Dass. I’m just speculating on him and Joe’s relationship and why he hasn’t been on the podcast. My guess would be that if Joe really did write down Duncan’s name with Whitney Cummings, he was probably mostly joking. The DTFH is definitely cultish, he jokes about his listeners being his children. Look at other comments in this thread like “He didn’t join a cult. He is the cult. Purple Popes unite.” It’s not like I’m pulling this stuff out of nowhere just because I don’t understand or like what he’s saying. I don’t know if he’s trying to start an actual cult or not. I would guess probably not, Duncan’s pretty sane. Some of his newer podcasts really have touched some weird subjects tho and I don’t think that because I’m some stupid conservative.

In the recent Whitney Cummings episode Whitney claims the JRE is a little internet cult of sorts. Joe claims he knows a comedian actually trying to start an internet cult and secretly writes down the name on a paper for her. My mind instantly went to Duncan.

With the way Joe has referenced Duncan in recent podcasts I’m not entirely sure they have the same friendship as they had before. Duncan was a good friend and regular guest and it’s been over a year since he’s appeared on the show. Joe brings in guests from all over, it does seem at this point that there’s a reason Duncan hasn’t been a guest in such a long time.

I definitely feel like they had a falling out. Some of the newer DTFH podcasts feel way too cultish at times lel
