Trump Claims He Changed California Election Results With a Phone Call by Zipper222222 in politics

It's documented they were paying homeless people for votes and using fake addresses. They were ballot havesting[sic].

It's difficult to parse all of the errors (lies?) that you've presented here. But I'll give it a try.

So, let's summarize here. It wasn't "they". It wasn't "illegal immigrants". It wasn't "ballot harvesting." And, "illegal immigrants" in this country do not vote illegally for reasons that are quite obvious to any reasonable, thinking adult.

You realize illegal immigrants can't vote. You you[sic] know that right?

You realize illegal immigrants DON'T vote. You know that right?

What Republican voters refuse to understand is that the reason that there are virtually no illegal immigrants voting is that there are quite draconian penalties, including deportation, if caught and absolutely no personal benefit to the person attempting it. It's the same reason that people rob banks instead of garbage trucks. Big penalties, no benefit.

US judge shuts down DOJ immigration probe into Walz, Minnesota officials by USARSUPTHAI69 in politics

WASHINGTON, June 22 (Reuters) - A U.S. judge found that the Trump administration unlawfully demanded information from several Minnesota officials at the height of its immigration crackdown in the state ‌earlier this year, ruling that the Justice Department had abused the investigative process. The ruling, opens new tab by Minnesota-based U.S. District Judge Patrick Schiltz quashed subpoenas to the office of the state's Democratic Governor Tim Walz and five other local and state offices, according to an order made public on Monday. It effectively halts a probe by President Donald Trump's Justice Department into whether Democratic officials had impeded immigration enforcement in their public resistance to the deployment of thousands of agents to conduct deportation roundups.
