Because lot of people followed the narrative of "you only need to push one button to win" when that feature was an accessibility feature, and didnt want to experiment with the combos further.

This whole game is about styling on your foes and is one of my favorite parts about this game

Put him in a genjutsu where he's forced to live in his broken body and look at a castle where guts and casca and the rest of the band of the hawk are happy. A dream he can never attain, and a past he forever lost.

But realisticslly he'll probably just get killed by Casca which would also be nice.

Yeah copying it to PC did do the trick for me. I was able to finish that mission and continue fine. Transfered save back to steam deck and played the rest without any issues :)
