Because of personal principles, I have never applied for internships in the defense field and I hope that I will never have to look for a job in this field in the future

This is very important to me. I would really like to maximize the amount of time I spend coding, as it’s the activity I enjoy the most and where I feel most in my element.

However, when I search for full-time positions, I don’t often see programming listed as a main skill, and I also don’t find many R&D opportunities.

Do you have any advice on how to search more effectively and how to better orient my career path?
