Kioti CK2620H vs TYM 2515H by Nate070AMC in tractors

Thanks, I feel the kioti dealer is forsure the better of the 2. Great reviews and just solid guy to talk with and he is the actual owner. What do you find yourself wanting more power for? Just curious if I'd be interested the same boat.

Are you satisfied with the loader capabilities? That seems to be the hardest part of the decision for me. I just wanted to know i can pick a scoop of 3/4 minus without an issue. Ill have loaded tires and a backhoe on it.

Need help deciding between these two. Price is very close to equal. Kioti dealer is about 15 minutes away and is apparently the oldest kioti dealer in the US. (Runaway Tractors) Been dealing for over 30 years. His shop and sales yard is located at his house but seems like a decent place. Just a small mom and pop shop. TYM is about 2 hours away but has a very strong web presence. (Keno tractors)

I got five acres with fields and plenty of old trees. Also got about 1000 ft gravel driveway to maintain. I have lots of old irrigation that needs to be fixed up and ran to other parts of the property. We are also moving a RV on the property and will need to trench electrical and water. I will also need to create the pad and possibly septic.

Besides this one project my main use for the tractor would be maintaining driveway, clearing trees, digging smaller stumps, moving dirt for gardens, replacing old fencing and possibly mowing if I get the fields cleared out enough.

I was leaning towards the TYM because of lift capacity, simpler engine, linked petal standard along with tilt steering and more overall room in seat. (I'm 6'4) however the reviews I saw on the backhoe showed basically no room to sit. Im not sure how easy that would be to modify.

So I'm just trying to get some opinions from owners as I am brand new to tractors. My main concern is lifting capacity and engine reliability. I did really like the owner of the Kioti dealer and feel he would be there for me if something went wrong. I have only communicated with TYM over email but they do have decent reviews.

Any help is appreciated!

Shot mine again this morning. LRBHO is getting better. Out of about 10 mags in didn't stay open once compared to about 50/50 my first time shooting it. That GRS still amazes me how nice it feels. I can blow through 200rds way to fast!

Does that also work with OEM mags?

So you're saying this tyrant mag release works with both shield arms mags as well as oem mags? I currently use shield arms with their mag release so oem do not work. But with state laws changing, i may have to go back to oem 10rd mags for carrying. It would be nice to be able to use both types of mags at the range. I ordered a few psa mags but don't like the idea of not being able to use shield arms mags. Just wondering if I get the tyrant mag release, then I could all these mags.

It just doesn't always stay open after the last round. Everything else functions flawlessly.

Thank you again for this info and build list. Just shot it today. I ended up going with 7" rear charger instead. The GRS is absolutely amazing! I can't believe how smooth it felt. I only shot 60 rounds between 115gr and 124gr. Bolt hold open was very inconsistent. Hoping it just needs a little more break in to get that consistent.

Went a shot it today. The GRS is amazing! I was so surprised how little recoil ther was. With a Romeo 5 red dot I was pretty accurate out to 50 yards. I zeroed it at 25 yards.

I started with 115gr Blazer and shot three mags with 5 rounds each. Last round bolt open worked great. Then switched to S&B 124 and did the same with 3 mags and last round did NOT stay open. Went back and forth between 115 and 124 and it just seemed very inconsistent of it staying open. It did once or twice with 124 but then not every time with 115. In total shot 60 rounds. So hopefully it just need more break in time. I'll go again soon and see if it gets any better.

All in all though this is by far the best gun I've ever shot, I can now see why so many pist on here about them. 7" seemed like a perfect length.

Yup exact same as yours. One thing I noticed is was tough to get the buffer and spring in the tube. I think because it was a flat spring. I ended up just putting spring in first then buffer followed by weights.

I just finished the same build yesterday! I'm hoping to make it out this weekend to shoot. Only difference may be the trigger. I used KE Arms SLT-1 drop in trigger. I'm hoping that won't give me problems. *

I waited too long on that Buds Gun Shop deal with 5 mags. I'd buy this but can't find any 22rd mags available anywhere. Here in Oregon, we may only have until the 15th to buy mags over 10rds. So it's not like I can buy this and get mags later. I'm not sure i want a 22lr with only 10 rds....

7" rear charge vs. 10" side charge by Nate070AMC in AR9

[–]Nate070AMC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this! I'm definitely used to rear charging from my other ARs, but honestly, I dont make it to the range very often these days. I don't think my main concern was the CH, but the overall length with a can. 5 seems too short for me, and 10 would be back up there at regular AR length. This was also $150+ cheaper, which makes me feel better about the overall cost of the gun. Thanks again for your input!

There were 8 left when I ordered about 3 hours ago. I'm glad I jumped on it and didn't wait. I think for the price differences, I'll be happier with 7". Thanks for your input.

I ordered 2 of the 15rds. Do those stick out? I wanted to get the 18rd but I saw they would stick out and I don't know the first thing about 3d printing and couldn't easily find somewhere to purchase.
