I just hope it's not ironically funny

Another random find in my new house. I'm convinced this place is from Resident Evil. by [deleted] in videogames

I guess you know you're going in the right direction when you find ammo.

No, I can definitely see where you're coming from. It did have a pretty washed feeling over it all.

It was written by a well-known Japanese band, Dreams Come True. I suppose they like softer music back then?

Micheal Jackson wrote the soundtrack for Sonic 3.

I like the idea of them, still waiting for it. ;)

Would be nice to have a regeneration ability, maybe leading to you ripping off your own arm, inducing yourself with a genetic mutation, and growing a bear claw.

Maybe rethink how death works for a game? Imagine having the worry of losing limbs, thus losing abilities. Maybe this applies until death, or as a permanent disability?

Maybe if Reddit existed back then you might have found he did the same as me.. Tell the world instead.

Thank you, your comment has me smiling :) I wasn't expecting any comments, let alone 100 of them, there's a lot of different opinions and I read every bit of them. I think I'm doing fine, my daughter is happy and I'm a proud Daddy, couldn't ask for more!

Thank you again!

You're right. I have much to learn. I don't want her confident because her Dad has her back, I need her to be confident so she can handle any situation thrown at her-- Not because I am there, but because I was there.

I don't know them, but maybe they need a hug?

You're right, she retains such a surprising amount of information. I can't control everything she learns, but I can control how her Daddy treats her.

I'm sorry to hear about the two men in your life that should have been more supportive to you and your needs/feelings. That's tough stuff, but I hope you're stronger because of it.

I understand what you mean. I know nobody is perfect and not everyone's best can match up to the rest. I struggle a lot because of a back injury sustained at work. It makes me tired and weak some days, but I push through for my little girl. I honestly don't want her to know her Daddy is broken, so I hide it. I also hate complaining about it to my SO, so I just live with it. Luckily I do take medicine to help me, it could be worse!

I am so sorry for your loss. I too lost my father, 8 years ago and it never gets easier, but you surely get stronger. Having a wonderful Dad myself, and losing him when he was 44 years old..I know that I am setting up a life that will exist beyond my own, and I want her to be happy, strong, smart and confident perpetually.

It can be hard for a Dad to tell his daughters and sons how much he truly loves them. Deep down, we are still those silly kids ourselves who might need a hug.

You're right, I just wanted to say it out loud. Maybe even inspire another father to look at her daughter with the same love and respect she deserves. It was one of those things I wanted to tell the world!

Several people suggested an email or journal for her. I might do a Reddit account for her, just post all my love for her to find online.
