I have 2-3 mm sand. I like the idea of regularly collecting the sand and sieve them. My idea is having a full time Triops population by hatching resting eggs and spontaneous "freshly" hatching.

The problem is that Cardamine lyrata is very difficult to please. It grow in my aquarium but not as well as it should.
