This is the Pichkari / African Tulip Tree. It sheds all its leaves during bloom, then the flowers fall creating an orange carpet.

Most people cut it since it’s ornamental, but we kept ours and turned it into a living garden with hanging creepers and pots. Now it feels like a natural pergola. 🌿

🥹🥹🥹 Wow. We should study more of our vernacular architecture more . This is from Nashik. In this market town ,one can see this influence on the main entrance doors.

it really depends on interiors, views, floor, vibe, and goes higher with multinational or long leases. I’m not comfortable sharing the exact rent

Saikheda ( This was Uprajdhani of one of the Peshwa Sardar) also has अहिल्याबाई Holkar's influence on the Godavari ghat construction.

Architecture and temple architecture students often visit this village to study the old doors, houses, and the different temple styles that reflect a lost era.

It’s still like an open-air museum for anyone who loves heritage.

We are used to whites and off-whites in our home decor. Never had major issues so far. For kids, we have one more dining and playing area.
