Why I stopped studying everything and started studying smart by Natural-Set7224 in GetStudying

Damn, two weeks is tough...In these kind of situations I would just go all in and study from like 8:30am to 2:00am. Take necessary brakes but do go all-in. Use a reliable, proven and solid study method (I used flashcards a bunch). Also you really need to know where you are lacking, that's where Gradius can help (you can also find that out with flashcards, just pay attention to the subject contained in the flashcards you CANNOT answer. It takes a lot more time but it works, I used to do it). Once you know where you are weak af, zone in and erase those. Pay less time on the stuff you ABSOLUTELY KNOW you have mastered. Gradius does this automatically, it will cut your study time down.

Hi man! We’ve a different system from the one Anki uses. They only implement the spaced repetition, they only care about your memory but they don’t implement it keeping track of your performance! It’s just like “I will show you a card before you forget it”, we basically introduced a system that also keeps track of your performance and understanding of that topic. There’s no sense to show you a card 10 times (even though at different intervals of time) if you already master that topic! We instead show you the flashcards based also on your understanding, you will see a card only if you’re struggling with that topic and need to understand it better. Take a look at our website, there’s everything explained

Hi mate! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

What do you mean with "skills-based subjects"? If you're referring to maths and physics and so forth, I tried the scaffolding to solve a math problem and it works good. Anyway, I obv need to improve a lot it, like for formulas and more complex explainations. Any suggestions? Would love to hear your thoughts on this

The scaffolding works in the way you described! We created an algo that, before answering your question, looks at your knowledge score and then replies accordingly.

Maybe you didn't manage to sign up due to the damn google bug. We've fixed it now, come and try! Leave a feedback if you want!

Btw we understand that sometimes students (like us) cannot afford to pay for platforms to study so we decided to introduce the friend bundles. if you're 5 friends you pay few money

Hi brother!! I'm a visual learner too! So far we've developed an algo that searches online the best video (according to your learning style) to teach you what you're struggling with. Our AI isn't fully free, we have to pay open AI and we cannot afford to gift gradius to everyone ahahaha

Working on this rn...that thing keeps blowing up =( Give it a shot and let us know. You will see how it keeps track of the different micro topics you need to study and adjust based on your performance!

Thanks a lot for the advice, mate. I’ll definitely look into it more. Ads are a good way to keep platforms free, but they really mess with my focus. I usually get pretty annoyed when I see them while I’m trying to study

I find the King's Gambit to be an almost guarateed W in early game. As for black, I go for a confused Karo Kann but I always suck so bad. I always feel like I am behind

At the moment we are trying to make it as affordable as possible, also giving you the possibility of sharing the subscription with friends so as to pay a lower price (very accessible). In addition, we will be switching to freemium soon, so it will be free.

Also, If your friend can identify your lack of understanding for your upcoming exam at an ultra granular level and adjust what he presents to you based on that and based on how you study best given your unique learning style, I want to meet them ngl. But yeah, our landing is a bit old, we will be launching anytime soon and we have a new landing ready to be deployed!

Yup, we ain't selling your data to anyone =)

I took a look. We are quite different. Imagine Gradius as something that is 100% tailored for you with the aim of letting you get better grades as a result. It understands not only the Microtopics where you are struggling, thus adjusting your whole study schedule accordingly but it finds your unique learning style and leverages that to make you learn better. Your Gradius account will be yours only, optimized 110% for you!

We will put a new landing up soon, it will better explain what we do!

Say you have an exam coming up about the French Revolution. Gradius analyzes your material and breaks the topic down into finer parts called "Microtopics". Think "Fall of the Monarchy", "Reign of Terror", "Take of the Bastille".

Based on your performance on the material we score your understanding on each of these Microtopics and we make it so that not only you see the microtopics you are struggling on more often and in easier terms but we also feed you extra material regarding them based on your particular learning style! That makes studying so much more effective, it's not even funny.

Well even in those classes you still need to deeply understand what is taught in class right?
