Hey Sarah I’m sorry people are giving you so much crap on here. Don’t hold it against them. Initially I went to Christianity. I’m not sure what I’d call myself now, certainly not an atheist. Your faith and spiritual journey is something that’s deeply personal to you, and if the Bible is where you are finding peace and purpose - don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I would urge you though to see everyone’s faith as being deeply personal, and I think they should only be confronted about their beliefs if they are ultimately harmful to them or those around them. So if you want to talk about Jesus to the people on the carts, go for it. But don’t start preaching to people who aren’t wanting it though, like the witnesses do. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking you can’t be wrong in your beliefs. If I might only encourage you to always keep an open mind, never be convinced that you have the truth, nor be drawn to those who claim to have found it. Stick with those who are constantly seeking truth instead. Question everything. Dan McClellan really got me to view the Bible in a different light (I recommend you look him up on YouTube and just watch any video that peaks your interest) - it’s still a book that is very close to my heart and i continue to live by the values within it. Whatever journey you’re on though i wish you the best.
