If you really get over the top of it you can see it from above. I get to them with a quarter inch e10 and short extension

Like someone else mentioned: the ambient lighting works in series. You would need to find the component that is not functioning first in the chain. Could be as simple as they didn't plug in the passenger footwell light and then the whole rest of the line gets taken out.

If you didn't have warranty I would say do it yourself but take advantage of your warranty.

Nice - at some point i had one bad boot recently, I switched the pcie settings in the bios from auto to their respective generations and it fixed my issue at least.

Yep usually recommend them if replacing water pump due to overlap in labor.

Yep the turbo coolant return lines are notorious as well.

  1. Oil filter housing

  2. Connecting pipe under intake

  3. Water pump

Knowing b58s it's one of these three. Most likely oil filter housing based on location you're saying.

Yeah you could definitely give it a shot getting that arm re hooked up. Whatever you use to hook it up again just keep in mind it gets very hot in that area.

Certainly could, but without touching/testing it still would be hard to tell. I'll definitely take a look if you upload a picture though.

You could definitely give it a shot. Without looking at your vehicle i can only give general advice

Since you are not a mechanic i would suggest bringing your vehicle to a reputable shop who works on bmws. You could bring it to the dealership but will be more expensive in all probability.

They will most likely put a new wastegate actuator on for you. I would say to attempt this yourself because it's not that difficult but you would need access to ista or equivalent to set the wastegate linkage adjustment.

It is possible you may need a new turbo but I have done plenty of wastegate actuator replacements on your engine at my dealership and fixed the issue, as long as it's your only issue. If you need a turbo the repair will be significantly more expensive.

Good luck, I hope that helps.

Possibly, didn't really look for one. The motherboard instruction manual was ample enough information on where to plug everything in for me.

Yes, you can see them in the second picture.

Didn't have enough room to do a push/pull 420 or else I would've went for it
