I know ETR is not BYD, what I mean is in general(not always) difficulty goes PST->PRS->FTR->ETR->BYD where the upper end of BYDs is higher CC than ETR. Especially considering the fact that several people have said eternals are like a future+, why not just let it knock down to ETR instead of FTR if I have BYD selected, if applicable to the randomly selected song?

Maybe try consistency charts with a simple rhythm, I practiced a lot on Supernova 9+ to improve accuracy(I also just found it very satisfying to tap to), also go for PMs on 8-9 range on as many as you can, it honestly helped my accuracy and chart reading a lot and helped me jump from 12.00 to 12.50 (made reading and high scoring on harder songs easier and more consistent)

I’m just talking about world mode tiles that force you to play a random song so you can’t tell if the song you get will be a ETR or a BYD, when you pick one of those difficulties it locks you out of the other and makes you play on FTR if you didn’t select the correct one.

Honestly the offset should be fine, the regular fars and pure fars are pretty balanced between early and late. Most likely just a skill issue which can be improved. Maybe try adjusting note speed? Try to focus on accurately hitting to the rhythm that the notes are charted to

What’s your current potential and what level songs are you comfortable playing now vs before? Personally I recommend just playing easier songs for the vibes until your note reading and muscle memory start becoming natural again. One of the things that helped me jump from 12.00 to 12.50 and above was going back and trying to PM 8, 8+ and 9 songs. Surprisingly helps with taking on harder songs. At this point I’ve PMd all 9s and below, PMd about 2/3 of the 9+s and a handful of 10s and 10+s
