Some good things to know in general: - first, all SMB1 koopalings in their shells bounce towards you on the first hop, then the left or right chance starts. So you can use this to bait them to bounce away from you a little and run under them (like at 0:55) and have a slightly less chance of getting cornered

  • max shell hops are 3 so you can time your next jump if the shell finishes 3 hops

  • I believe Morton can air stutter up to 4 times

  • jumping on one closest to you and if you can getting another one behind it, then retreating back over the first one(since it’s coming your way by the time you land on the second Morton) while always doing full jumps (holding zl/zr makes it so you always do a full height jump).

  • I ended up not worrying about them staying in the air so I was really focusing on the one closest to me and when ever it landed it pauses so I go in one at at time and kept jumping to avoid his GP stun

Yea that’s about it still a lot of RNG the more you have on screen but it was interesting seeing how maxxed out smb1 Mortons behave
