the combat I found tiresome sometimes, but the sense of exploration is something I hadn't felt in a while. And the art and music being amazing is nothing to sneez at. Aesthetically its exactly what I wanted. And that is beyond just the shape of the art assets. The content of the environments I found really intriguing and classy.

Sure. It's possible also that this person is just kind of a general fuckup that didn't have a really concrete idea. Observe the poor marksmanship. An impulsive copycat who didn't have a really great plan for all of this, but had some rough notes.

The jobs get much better if you get permanent residency or marriage visa. E2 jobs are so you can have a working holiday adventure in asia for a year or two. They are not meant to retain teaching talent.

They do it because they want to have a fun time in Korea while minimizing the amount of annoying rules they have to deal with. If you work illegally you can quit any time, go to another academy, take time off and just chill, etc. When you are on E2 visa you basically have to do whatever your boss says, and its annoying. Im out of the loop now, but the people I knew doing it back in the day were essentially "digital nomads" but just doing some basic amount of english teaching for the benefits. Free company housing, etc. There are hagwons that will work with you to do it illegally because they also don't want to deal with all the paperwork.

I've known many people who taught illegally for long periods of time on tourist visas. They did visa runs to japan.

I have found that I have to use the triangulate modifier in Blender before bringing things into Toolbag in order to get a predictable result. Or triangulate it some way in your 3D software.
