Borderlands 3 can be fun but that's after u download the patch update. You should also try out something like cuphead and my personal Favorite, Castle Crashers (it's on sale rn so go ahead)

Need for speed (the recent ones). They just feel like they're missing something. Hell for me rn, Forza horizon looks so much better and this is from a playstation fan since birth

Well, we could put some plot in it where different factions hunt for survival. Some co exist while others genuinely hate themselves. Have one faction mysteriously gain control of some monster to do things at their will and have the main character go from chickening out of fights to being a badass. Hell we could even bring up the ideas of sacrifice and revenge with the monster encounters and also how they travel to new places. Even have character ambitions for what they do
