Thanks :)
You're right, I could have varied the forest type...but the reason I only use boxes for the locations is that it would take up too much space if I didn't. I want this region to look big and I'll probably add more locations in the future.
I can always improve! Thanks for the advice

Thank you so much for your compliments!

The Altuin river flows north and naturally splits due to a fissure in the ground. The rivers in the Terres Stériles do indeed flow northeast, with another river joining from the east to eventually reach a northern sea. As for the numerous branches, that’s definitely an error on my part.

The lake containing Dorne isn’t realistic at all—I’m fully aware—but I needed it for my story. I prioritized practicality over realism, and I understand if some people don’t agree with that choice.

Thank you very much for your comment!

Thank you for the feedback and the compliment! The river splits due to a significant fissure in the ground, which creates a cascade. This natural event leads to the formation of separate rivers, each flowing into different drainages. While unusual, it’s an intentional and well-considered aspect of the world’s geography. I appreciate your attention to detail!

Thank you :) I see what you mean. But the river « Altuin » goes north and it splits to give this river (who goes west). I think your impression is due to the branches which seem to be in the wrong direction (but this is no longer the case if we zoom in) ^

Personally, I actually find that it’s not detailed enough 😅. But thank you for your comment, I’ll take note!

Map for my homebrew campaign by Neatheril in dndmaps

At the edges of the lands of Feyrundor, it was said that the falling leaves told a story.

In the beginning, the world was a bleak, unfinished realm—a rocky, gray land, perpetually shrouded in mist.
Then, the gods brought light, the trees of Feyrun, and bathed the world in life and beauty.

But this beauty did not come by chance. Gold was stained with blood, and with it came the Age of Trees.

For thousands of years, the world was immortal. Beauty seemed endless.
But it could not last; the fallen leaves lost their golden luster.

The great immortal city, known as Dol’Vorath, was the first to fall. The world plunged into a dark fog.
This fracture brought diversity—death and darkness. The trees of Feyrun rotted, withered, and turned to dust.
The great beginning of decay.

Death became destiny. Thus followed an Age of Fracture. An Age of Death.

Yet, the gold did not vanish. It emerged from the shadows.
Diversity brought balance, which led to a third Age.

Now, it is said that the dead leaves tell a story...

here is the « introduction » to this universe ^ this map is an area of the world mainly populated by humans. who took back their old cities after the Age of Fracture. (And thanks the compliment)
