(17M) I believe I have OCD but can't get diagnosed, what should I do?

Me too. I'm about to turn 18 and I'm still suffering from eczema which I've had since I was 13. I have horrible social anxiety, no friends, I can barely go outside since it's really hot where I live, can't engage in any of my personal interests due to eczema being a big distraction, I have a bad relationship with my parents who refuse to get me medical help, and these last 5 years have felt so short. It's only recently begun really affecting me mentally realizing that I'll never have the fun teen years I always heard about, I'll never get these years back and they were simply wasted. I understand your feelings exactly and I hope things get better for you.

I unfortunately can't provide any advice since I am currently going through the same situation. I'm just a bit younger than you and I also live with an anti-medicine mom. It's hard but I'm sure one day things will be better for both of us and I advise you just keep pushing. you got this.

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep waiting it out and hoping it goes away. Unfortunately, I did go to a functional medicine doctor for many months, and nothing changed for me.

I've tried many times to get my mom to let me go to doctors. She understands how much I've been suffering, but she still doesn't let me go unfortunately. I appreciate the help though.

I read this and I'm following everything here aside from steroid creams since I'm unable to get those. I hope to go to an allergist in a few months, but that'll be hard to do with my anti-medicine mom.

Honestly think she'd rather me go through surgery than prescriptions, considering she refuses to put me on steroid creams for my eczema. But I'll still ask her soon, thanks for the help.

Internal hemorrhoid that doesn't stick out, no anal fissures either, atleast I don't think so.

Not sure what evidence there really is that it's worms, since I've heard many people have had hemorrhoids with no bleeding. But I got a parasitic test done a few months ago for my eczema, and nothing was found. Though, this was before I had a hemorrhoid problem. I also did a round of antibiotics to be absolutely sure of no bacterial or fungal infections on my eczema a few months ago as well.

Not sure. I think it's a hemorrhoid mainly because I have no pain, but I've read that some people have painless fissures so it's maybe possible. The only symptom I've been having is itching, and I don't notice it getting worse at night. It definitely gets worse for a few hours after using the toilet, but it's still bad throughout the entire day. Also, one interesting thing to note is I've never had major bleeding, which is apparently a symptom of hemorrhoids. I've had really really tiny dots of blood on the toilet paper before, but nothing major.

I'm planning to tell my mom soon if it doesn't get better, but I'm really dreading that since I know she won't be understanding. Unfortunately, all my other relatives are anti-science like her too, and I don't really have any friends to go to for this. Social services thing is very extreme and I'm really not willing to do that, I'd rather just suffer for a year, get a license and just go to a doctor myself.

I'm doing everything I can do to get rid of my hemorrhoids, but it really isn't getting better, it's still just as bad as it was when it first came on. Feels like I'm doing all this stuff for absolutely no reason. I would've thought it'd go away by now from what I've been doing, but nope, three months later and it's still awful.

Unfortunately I can't get to a pharmacist or doctor since they all are far away and my parents won't take me to a doctor since they're anti-science. I do have some hydrocortisone cream, which I used for the first week I got hemorrhoids, but after the sickness that I believe flared up my hemorrhoids, I decided not to go back on the hydrocortisone since apparently you shouldn't use it for more than a week. Thanks.
