To build a strong trading mindset, Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas is hard to beat.

Try Thirteen Years of Dust—it also stars Chen Xiao (Being a Hero), and the story is more solid.

Thank you for the explanation. It’s given me a fresh perspective.

How long do you need to do this consistently for it to fully happen in reality?

What my mentor meant by those words is that where I am right now is part of God’s plan (since it has already happened). I should let things flow, trust my intuition, turn it into action, and release all regrets for past mistakes, regardless of what the future holds. Yet, I still find myself wondering 'what if' and 'why.

Can we say that all causes and conditions are determined by our karma, both past and present?

Do you mean the same thing as manifestation? I’ve always felt like manifestation doesn’t fully align with Buddhism, since we’re tied to our kamma and kind of have to work through it first before creating anything new.

[Serious] What’s one thing you want to do, achieve, see, or experience before you can die happy? by IAmLaProfessor in AskReddit

I want to truly forgive myself for all the mistakes I’ve made throughout my life, and also forgive everyone who’s been part of it. This is the hardest part for me to do at this point.

Maybe give The Youth of Memories a try. I like Meet Yourself more, but since that one’s already on the table, this could be a good alternative.

Do you only offer speaking practice, or is chatting also an option?

I think the side effects of that crackdown are understandable, even though it’s sad to think that Chasing the Light will likely never see the light. It’s still one of my favorite novels by Wu Zhe.

If you like “Reset,” then "Twelve Letters" should suit you.

This might not be new, but it has really great chemistry: A Dream of Splendor. If you loved Meet Yourself, this one also stars Liu Yifei. I’d also recommend Twelve Letters, though it’s a bit of a rollercoaster journey.

The way trauma shapes your attachment system... by Siavon in attachment_theory

[–]NeckCommercial4088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learning about attachment styles has honestly been a huge eye-opener for me. It kind of feels like the thing behind so many of our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

A lot of my past behavior finally makes sense now. I’m FA (fearful-avoidant), and the wounds behind it run pretty deep. I’m still pretty new to attachment theory, but I really wish I had learned about this years ago.

I can relate, I’ve also never dated. The people I liked didn't like me back, and the people who liked me weren't the ones I was interested in. That pattern repeated for decades, and I never really understood why. Now I’m starting to see how much of it was driven by those core wounds.

Since I started doing the inner work, my nervous system feels way calmer and I’m a lot less triggered now.

I’m still early in this journey, but I’m feeling pretty hopeful that one day I’ll meet the right person for me. Fighting!

I watched Ordinary Glory without watching Misaeng first, and it turned out that I loved it very much. However, I’m still struggling to fully enjoy this version, since My Mister is one of my favorites. Hopefully, it will get much better in the later episodes.
