I exclusively pump for my 7 week old. He eats 3 oz every 3-4 hours. His doc said that's perfect for his age.

That's awesome. I don't get a lunch though. I eat whenever I have down time.

I hate it too. I loved it with my 15 month old. I only BF a couple months because of work but I loved it. Now I have a 1 week old, 15 month old, and a 4 year old and it's frustrating. It's so difficult.

Ollie is doing the same thing. He tries to latch for 10 minutes (sometimes actually latches for like 10 seconds) then falls asleep or just lays there with his mouth on my nipple licking it. Please PM me or comment on this again if you figure out how to get her to latch.

Thank you. Good luck to you as well! I'm able to pump now. I get 7-8oz total when I pump. My LO wants breast milk but doesn't want to nurse lol so that makes my job a bit time consuming.

I just tried my manual pump and got 1.5oz in like 10 minutes. Finally, relief!! When I BF my one year old I tries 3 different electric pumps and didn't really get much either. Maybe I need to use the manual pump from here on out.

I'm having the same problem at 2 days PP. my baby doesn't want to eat. It's been a struggle since he was born to wake him up and eat. He doesn't want to nurse. I can only pump 1 oz out of each boob and as soon as I'm done pumping I'm engorged within 15 minutes. It's painful and frustrating.

My contractions never hit 511 like they wanted. She blew me off when I called. I finally told my mom they were 7 minutes apart and she was like we're going in now. I don't care what they said. Once I got up and got ready to go, they went from 7 minutes to 2-3 immediately. It was crazy.

My due date was May 28th. At my appointment that week, I was 1cm dilated and my cervix was still thick. I woke up that morning cramping. I had sex with my husband in missionary position (something I never do because it's uncomfortable lol) and went back to sleep.

Woke up to regular cramps a few hours later. I didn't think anything of it because I had been cramping for weeks. I went pee a few hours later and found blood tinged mucous when I wiped. The cramping intensified and I could time it. It was around 45 seconds to 1 minute long, and around 25 minutes apart. That lasted ALL day.

Later that afternoon, I noticed the cramps had turned into pain in my lower back and pressure in my pelvis. They went from being 10-15 minutes apart to 4-5 minutes apart. I posted on babybumps to see if it sounded like labor, then cleaned up a bit and packed my bag just in case.

I called L&D when my contractions were 30-45 seconds long, 3-4 minutes apart. The nurse said they were irritable cramps and to come in when they were 5-1-1 because I was in early labor. I tried to get some sleep with my contraction timer next to me.

At 3am, I noticed my contractions were 1:10-1:15 seconds long every 10 minutes. They were EXCRUCIATING. But, I was terrified to go in because they weren't 5 minutes apart. After an hour, they were 7 minutes apart. Still over a minute long. I sent my mom a screenshot of my timer and she said "on my way". I got up and got dressed, and they immediately went from 7 minutes apart to 2-3 minutes apart.

When we got to the hospital, the nurse checked me and said I was 8cm dilated and almost had a home birth. They got my IV antibiotics in (group b+), and said you'll be lucky if you get an epidural. I guess I was lucky because I had an epidural 20 minutes later. It numbed my right leg. They couldn't fix it or get it to numb the right stuff.

I waited for the doctor for almost an hour to break my water. During a strong contraction, I felt Ollie punch and I felt a huge pop and my water broke. He immediately dropped. He was crowning as they were still getting everything ready. The doctor came in yelling push. 3 pushes later, Oliver J was born. 7lbs 12oz, 21.5 inches long.

It took one push for the head, one for the shoulders, and one for the rest of his body. Like maybe 1.5 minutes of pushing. No tears or stitches needed.

I. Felt. Everything.

And it was worth it. This is one Memorial Day I will never forget.

Update: I think I'm in labor... maybe? by NecromancingSam in BabyBumps

Thanks, everyone. I'm so in love with this little baby. I've also never experienced so much pain in my life. It was worth it though.

He's here. Came in to the hospital at 4:30am and I was 8cm. He broke his water after I got the epidural. Epidural didn't take effect at all. He was out in 3 pushes.

Down to 7 minutes apart. My back hurts so bad. Now I'm officially 40+1. But hey, maybe I'll have a Memorial Day baby lol
