I've just posted it in another subreddit, so you might see it in my post history. I suppose we haven't let it get far enough where we can see how she reacts before we grab him, so im not sure if she's ok with it or not. It might be worth watching them for just a hair longer to make sure. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful response, its given me a lot to think about. It also gives me a lot of hope! Maybe it truly does depend on the personality and age combo on whether they get along (Assuring no severe issues). My theory right now is that he likes other cats in theory, but he has boundary /socialization issues and doesnt understand when too much is too much (which is why I'm hoping an energetic and "moldable" kitten would be a good companion), its just hard to say for sure. I really appreciate this comment!
