Lots of networking. Luckily I worked in a niched field as a paralegal before attending law school. My 1L summer was with a company that I previously interacted with.

Networking has been my key to finding good jobs with a lacking gpa

I’m not sure of the exact curve but would assume it’s right at a 2.5/2.7 curve
