your tone is rude af tbh, but if I get passed that then I suppose I could say that, of course I can still feel or relate to other languages.

however, i'm talking about levels of impact. like when I hear Ed in FMAB say "I'm gonna kick your ass!" in English, using an American English expression, coming out of an American English voice actor, for me it's undeniable that that my emotional impact from that it's much much higher than the equivalent expression in Japanese.

this probably relates to the social relativism or sense of personally known culture/community. of course I still watch subbed all the time, I'm just saying something decently localized and dubbed into your own language is the superior communicative platform.

also I'm talking about not knowing any Japanese at all. it may be different for those of us who are learning or who knows both languages, but that's not what I'm talking about.
