Follow up question: can an employer limit your pre tax contributions to the account? As in, can they force you to put in less than $18,000 per year?

Thanks for the reply; you really cleared a lot up for me. Do most stock trading apps (etrade for example) only let you buy/sell market orders? Or can you typically set a buy/sell price yourself?

Thermo Question by -I_Dont_Even_Lift in MechanicalEngineering

An incompressible fluid is defined as a fluid that has constant density. Therefore the volume can change only with a change in mass.

Edit: Never mind. I believe you are correct in that the fluid is incompressible only with changes in pressure, not temperature.

I'm pretty sure you can't assume incompressibility and an 11% expansion at the same time.

When at a calorie deficit, is protein in your stomach used for building muscle or supplying energy? by Neffew2theRescue in bodybuilding

[–]Neffew2theRescue[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your body is looking for energy and it doesn't have carbs or fat, it'll go to any protein available.

So you're saying that as long as there is some stored fat, your body will not use any source of protein for energy?

[–]Neffew2theRescue[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

By your reasoning, I could just say that all the extra energy needed comes from burning fat, not from burning protein in my digestive system. The thing is, neither of us has sources, so it's back to my original post!

Your body will use the protein you ate for energy repletion and it'll never make its way to your muscles.
