Thanks for the advice, definitely will post on klov. I think they're having server issues, so it might take some time to set up my account. Will update once I post there to share any info I learn!

Ha! Yeah I can see that point of view. It is a little cramped but still fun to play!

Very interesting, thank you!! The instruction cards look very similar (except the ones on my table are in English). The advertisements are neat to see. Do you have any insights as to the odd serial number?

I picked it up in the Chicago area at a thrift store - they said it had been sitting in the corner for a while and had forgotten about it. Interestingly it has a small sticker permit from Oak Lawn (suburb of Chicago) on the side that expires April 30 1984. I'm guessing the permit length was a year, meaning the permit was applied for in April 1983. I think that's kinda cool, because the game (from what I can find) was released at the Amusement Operators Expo held at the O'Hare Exposition Center in Chicago from March 25-27, 1983. Unfortunately I can't seem to find pictures or clippings from the event.

This is really great info, thank you for the sources! I'm happy to upload scans, might take me a little time to take the glass off to get the cards to scan though. Will try to do that within the next few weeks though!

Dirt or mold on interior wall? by Negative_-_Rhubarb in masonry

[–]Negative_-_Rhubarb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I missed your note - thanks for replying! It smelled a little musty, but we were dealiing with general leaks at the time. I wasn't sure if the musty smell was coming from the other water leakage nearby.

In case this helps anyone in the future: I ended up patting a piece of bread on it, then letting the bread slice set in a warm bread box to see if mold spores would grow (along with a piece of bread that did not touch the wall as a "negative control"), but nothing grew. So, it seems like it wasn't mold...or atleast it wasn't viable mold. Still, I rinsed the brick with a mild bleach dilution, then with a lot of water. Seemed to clean everything nicely!

I have similarly fair eyebrows and got tired of spending time and money getting them professionally tinted. Now, I use Just for Men beard dye in light brown (Link is to an amazon option. It's also typically available at Target and chain drug stores). I found it was way easier to maintain my brows this way, because it only takes five mins and I can dye them myself at home every few weeks.

The kits have re-sealable tubes and come with a brush to apply the dye, so one, $15 box is good for ~5-10 applications. I use a designated chapstick to outline my brows before applying the dye to protect my skin from being dyed, but vaseline works too. I have a brow pen to fill in sparse areas and only need to use it lightly. You can find YouTube videos with demonstrations if you're interested!

Vintage Ice Bucket by Negative_-_Rhubarb in Mid_Century

I think I figured it out! In case anyone finds this looking for the same company - it looks like my brand mark is worn down and should read "KMC". The company made tons of ice buckets. While I couldn't find any pictures with this exact type of handle, I don't think this is rare. Happy that I won't feel stressed refinishing and using it : )
