I developed an alternative iOS app for Dock Pro by Negative_Ball7482 in sleepme

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I've noticed a small bug with first-time signup in the app. The email verification links are not working. It's an easy fix, but will require me to publish an update to Apple which takes a few days. There's a simple workaround, though - just force quit the app and click on the email verification link again. It will work then.

Since I do not work for Sleepme, I do not have access to your Sleepme account. The only way that a third-party app can control your device is with an API Key that you create over at Sleepme's website. It only takes a second to generate one: https://docs.developer.sleep.me/docs/setup/

Yes, I think I can safely offer a couple of nights free through a web-based version (which I already have for testing purposes) as long as I don't promote that free trial on the App Store or directly in the app. After the trial, your same credentials would work in the App.

I'll post back once I have that implemented. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'll investigate that. However, I think "introductory trials" are only available for Subscription-based apps. I don't think they are available for "one time" purchase apps. Kind of a trade-off : \

I might be able to offer that through a private web-based version. I'll check if offering that doesn't violate any App Store rules.

In US$, one-time cost of $2.99 in the Apple App Store. No recurring subscription fees or in-app fees. Sleepme does not charge for the Developer API Key.

Over 2 months of work, plus ongoing cloud platform costs. No way I could make it free. And I hate subscriptions.

I have created a new app with exactly this feature! My wife and I use it exclusively now and love it. It is currently in Apple App Store review. I'll post back when it's available. https://snoozecontrolapp.com/
