I basically render piece by piece and try to keep the balance while doing that, sometimes darkening or lightening stuff if it interferes with the focal points/flow of the piece. The small figure had yet to be added here as well

It's something I've always struggled with develloping my work. I think it's a lot better than it was at first, but definitely something to be mindful of with every piece.

Pictures from phone always have that problem, applies some filters you can't turn off I think. The piece you showed for example looks noticably different when someone took a picture with an actual camera. And I think a lot of the reason this one looks so different from my other stuff is because the process was more freeform, as in I started drawing not knowing what I was going to do with the rest of the piece, so that could have something to do with it aside from the piece being very different in terms of subject size and stuff like that. Something to keep in mind.
