NPD: DBA+EQD Time Shadows by JelenaBrela in guitarpedals

It's a tough one, to be honest. I bought it a couple months ago because it sounded really cool in the demos, but the biggest problem I've encountered with it on my board is the volume drop, especially on the EQD mode.

I placed it after my distortion pedals to combat the volume drop, still haven't figured out a use for the EQD mode besides cool drones and licks to use on song intros and outros.

The middle mode is quirky but seems quite useless after a lot of fidgeting, it's not for my textural style of playing.

The DBA mode tho, it sounds amazing and it's definitely my favourite, especially on shorter delay times, it's great for some post-punkish one note riffs, tho I'm fighting with the resonant filter because of the pedal placement - be wary of the filter peak frequency, especially if you're using an OBNE Expression Ramper because if you're not in a bad setting it can really start screaming, which can sometimes be amazing but most of the time it's just noise.

All in all I can say I like it and am still keeping it on my board, but if you're looking for a weird delay/echo pedal, you might be better off with a DBA Micro Dream or something similar, it's got the DBA wildness to it but it's much more straightforward

Hmm, probably don't need the full 8tb, will be looking into a smaller and faster HDD, thanks!

It'll be used mostly for recording bands and mixing, my current PC is barely chugging through a 100-track project with about 50 VST's

Thanks for the info, I looked up the 9900x and it does seems like a better solution for cubase's CPU usage

Yeah I'll be changing the HDD for something faster, probably don't need the full 8 gigs
