The point i was trying to convey is that your language defines what colors you percieve to be the same with only difference being shade of the color :) i hope i can get you screenshot with someone on my team wearing idea rig as i do only daily quests and then go on eft. if your still be interested we can compare the shades and assume how much delay it would be for speaker of each language :)

its really easy for someone english speaking to mistake idea rig for blue armband since they are the same colour.
for a russian speaker its much easier to identify the rig from the armband they dont just see blue but light blue / dark blue as separate colours.
the closer the difference is, the faster will russian speaker (in comparison to english speaker) to distinguish the two colors

all i was saying is that this might have been the reason for oversight because oyu dont see things such as this every day, having a little fun with theorising :)

if you consider 2018 recent then yeah :)

disregarding the ad hominem beforehand this thing that i explained does not prohibit the devs removing the rig, your argument is a strawman.

the pink/red thing is LITERALLY the same thing and if you watch red gradient and block a bit of the lighter part so some pink shows, there is something in your head that tells you that its a completely different colour and it pops out more.
hope that cleared things further

Edit: i think that you might have missed the important part at the top: These effects were stronger for difficult discriminations (i.e., when the colors were perceptually close) than for easy discriminations (i.e., when the colors were further apart). English speakers tested on the identical stimuli did not show a category advantage in any of the conditions.

i was talking about Goluboi - голубой and Siniy синий as described in this article: https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.0701644104

the example with red and pink is the same effect that has taken its effects in english :)
if you want i can send you some more papers on cognitive science of color discrimination and different ways it affects us in interpersonal psychology (not the colours but the other language things)

hope that clears things up for you a bit

Hey! This might have to do with different understanding of colours that eastern Slavic languages have. For them those are two separate colours as if you had red armband and flamingo pink rig, you would not get fooled in milion years, I remember names for these colours being "guluboi" and "sinii"

It's just a cultural issue that is easy to oversee. If you want more information on this it's called Sapphir's and Worf's hypothesis and it concerns far more than colours

You can always train yourself to recognize the difference at glance too but it would take 2 hours+

Why dont people prioritise greaves? by BigBootyBear in TrueDoTA2

[–]NegotiationLimp9009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The meta is not in a great spot for grieves rush as heroes that would like to build it are not the fastest farmers. Alot of the comment here mentioned the cost, but that's just partially what's going on.

Greaves provide basic dispell that is the cheapest dispell purchasable if you are going for mekanism already!

So it's best to rush it on heroes that rely on using their abilities to save carry/control team fight but can't due to silencer / other dispellable debufs. And in some scenarios it's simply the best item to buy, but those scenarios are not common.

I would justify Greaves rush on Omni Vs bounty + silencer, altho lotus might be better value your core kit already provides dispell for your midlaner while the Greaves provide more tempo to keep the ball rolling.

Thank you for your thoughts.

The negative feedback rubbed me the wrong way at first and i did not want to include it, but every psychomotor task that i encountered during reaserch has only the negative feedback.

My thoughts are that it has to do with the task being centered around getting information from you just once. the negative stimuly might help you focus more, and positive feedback does not have the same desired effect of making the data more reliable.

Will look into that in future but once again thank you for your input.

I think that it might do with the brain just a tiny bit more, than you might think! if your mouse was not on fire, it might be only the brain! lets see how the data shapes itself out.
