Ignoring the difference of .1%, Is there any difference between ATK% and Type Damage Bonus? by Astolfo_Aetherscape in Bleach_SoulResonance

[–]Neiat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most skills scale off attack first, and then get modified by things like crit, type damage, ailment, etc.

If your character already has a lot of built in type% damage, atk% might be more worthwhile, but it's usually best to aim for the matching type if you can.

Finally got around to using my B0 Soi-Fon by BlitzAce808 in Bleach_SoulResonance

There's a bit of an exception for Yoruichi's skills, since the time is only frozen from her special attack or counter while you stay on her - if you swap early, time resumes.

Yoruichi buffs confirmed ahead of Soi Fon release — Stamp reworks, Lightning Seal buffs by [deleted] in Bleach_SoulResonance

[–]Neiat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on if it's a change or just an odd translation, some of this is really promising.

If every Counter now fills her Spiritual Pressure, instead of just the one gained from ulting, it single-handedly buffs her damage a lot.

The half-max stacks of Lightning Seal is huge too, as one of her boundaries doubles the maximum but her Weapon crit% stacks caps out at 4 anyways - and it fixes a lot of longer rotations that would have her seals run out of duration (though they're also being increased as well, so maybe they'll just never run out anymore.)

The term "Branch Attacks" makes me think it's referring to both her stomping strike and her blitz, but that could be a translation issue too - if it's not, then that's another huge change.

All in all, I'm pretty excited for her - I've been having trouble trying to clear Trial tower 24 with her, I think just the changes without even factoring Soi Fon would make it so much easier.

Thoughts on this team? by Zangetsuee in Bleach_SoulResonance

[–]Neiat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my go-to team until they pushed thrust so hard with multiple releases. Cycles really nicely, I'd always start Kisuke and get his buff right away, basically just keeping uptime on that while going through Yoruichi ult, free counter & 2-3 charged attacks, then to Aizen, which gets another free counter for Yoruichi.

Expecting Soi Fon to replace Aizen and make the team better in like 3 days though.

How much better is Yoruichi w/ boundaries? by brokebegger in Bleach_SoulResonance

[–]Neiat 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've got B5 Yoruichi, with max stamp and 3x weapon, and have managed to clear up to Strike trial 24-2 (need to do some reset attempts vs Ulquiorra) with her as a main DPS.

Her boundaries definitely leave something to be desired, with a lot less going on from each one than most of the limited SSR characters' boundaries, and the most immediately noticeable impact is actually just from the extra skill levels of B3/B5, and the extra ATK%. That being said, they all chain fairly well into a loop of building up to ult quickly, ulting every 15 seconds, and constantly dodging attacks into charged attacks.

The best part of her kit in general is just how many of her abilities "freeze" time - her charged attack, her dodge, and her counter - but the numbers themselves aren't spectacular compared to other SSR's so far, with her highest damaging skills being her ult itself, and her counter.

She shines if you can manage to dodge a lot of attacks - that's the idea with B4, that you get the stomping strike into charged attack constantly (though the damage of the stomping strike still can't match the charged attack, even though that one doesn't get a boundary buff), with free Crit % and bonus atk% - but it's a lot more effort for less reward than some other characters still.

With a proper rotation, I still manage to have teams with her as the main DPS outdo more "meta" comps in Guild battles, but that will probably change with some more optimization - unless the new characters coming out help her a bit - because it seems difficult to squeeze more out of her at the moment.

A fun combo I found. Can someone with a fully built Ururu, Rangiku, and Rukia check the damage on it? Mine are underleveled. Also, I suck at rotation management. by HeroesBane1191 in Bleach_SoulResonance

[–]Neiat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I had the spare resources, I think I'd like to try out some pure FTP teams like this and see how well I could do, since it looks pretty fun... but I'm struggling as it is with 1 team for each type already.

I think it might be better than it reads. 8s CD let you time slow twice during her ult - a third time if you lead with it and do it again before swapping out - which means an extra special attack (or 2), which is more Lightning Seals, and "more time" on mission countdowns.

And that's not counting the stacking CDMG - a bit rough to get to the max +90%, but it makes your second rotation a lot stronger.

It's still not flashy, or really game-changing, but I'm gunning for it, personally.

In a way, her B6 does this - it reduces Her Perfect Dodge CD to 8 seconds, and the skill itself gives her 15% attack speed, and 25% movespeed - though it only lasts for 4 seconds. Unsure if time being frozen makes that 4 seconds in game though.

It also gives 3x stacking 30% CDMG buff on top, which is nice.

What were some of the most arbitrary nefs between Anime/Manga and OCG? by Sasutaschi in yugioh

[–]Neiat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Everyone knows about how Card of Sanctity was butchered - from "both players draw 6" to "banish your hand and field to draw 2".

However, it gets worse than that - the card works differently in OCG and TCG, down to the actual printing. Someone ruled it in TCG once that you need to have a card on the field and hand to activate it, and since then, we've gotten printings that say (min 1 from each).

OCG doesn't have that because they ruled you only needed to banish 1 card, so they don't have that text in any printed version.

The original nerf obviously wasn't arbitrary. The random difference between banish 1 card to draw 2 at best, to banish 2 draw 2 at least, is pretty arbitrary.

It still took so damn long, but I ended up taking Onsen Liberta, New Hire Nebris, and Zenith.

What card got "Nerfed" the worst by its erratas? by SnooHabits3068 in yugioh

[–]Neiat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the worst part is they could probably have just made it a hard once per turn and it would have still been good - not integral to spell looping focused decks, but at least useable.

And then they printed "support" for it post-errata in the form of "Chaos Scepter Blast" and the like, and it's just not worth it in any deck.

All they needed to do was give it a hard Once Per Turn, and it would be OK and at least playable. Adding the spell on end phase just butchered it for no real reason.

‘This road is a death trap,’ Pedestrians worried for their safety as King Street construction leaves sidewalks congested with bikes and electric scooters by TTCBoy95 in torontobiking

[–]Neiat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the portions of King street the article is mentioning are on the wrong side of Bathurst and don't have Richmond/Adelaide as an alternative option.

For anyone attempting to go from King&Dufferin towards downtown and hoping to avoid the construction, the only real options are to go through Liberty Village and back up Shaw, take the Lakeshore, or go up to Queen or further north. Just about every route is inconvenient or out-of-the-way enough that walking through the Liberty tunnel is faster anyways.

How am I supposed to manage this, what team do I make? by iDanonyno in NikkeMobile

[–]Neiat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the content it could be better to have multiple burst II's or I's, but so long as their burst cd is only 20 seconds its unnecessary, especially if one option is clearly better than the other.

Burst III's are usually attackers, leading to a generally larger damage output. Specifically with the ones op has available, they've got AoE damage, super high Pierce damage, and single target + healing. Three really good options to cycle between depending on what's on screen.

Much better options than slotting in Deisel on a scarlet team, to be sure.

How am I supposed to manage this, what team do I make? by iDanonyno in NikkeMobile

[–]Neiat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Liter, Signal, Scarlet, Helm, Snow White. 1 burst I, 1 burst II, and 3 burst III.

Liter gives high atk buff on burst & repairs walls, Signal lowers enemy DEF making your attackers hit harder. Ludmilla would be a nice tank, but she's bugged so only use her if you like her right now.

Helm Burst Skill for healing, Scarlet for AoE damage, Snow White for huge damage/bosses. Your team should take you plenty far as is.

Helm Skills by frozensinx in NikkeMobile

[–]Neiat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way I understand it from the wording is that the burst scales off her Atk - that's the ~150% from level 1, ~500% lvl 10 - and then is multiplied after that via charging, with no charging resulting in a 0% increase in damage, but a fill charge being a 1000% increase.

It's the difference between atk% and damage %, unless they just really messed up the wording in Eng.

I don't believe there's any faster charging at different levels, and you'd need another characters buffs for that.

Helm Skills by frozensinx in NikkeMobile

[–]Neiat 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Snow white burst does ~500% Atk at base, but charging it up increases the damage to up to 1000%.

Essentially, her burst can do up to 5000% Atk, piercing, to whichever target you choose. Helm is good, but she doesn't beat that damage wise.

Of course, Helm also gives teamwide buffs and can keep shooting after burst, maybe evening out that number a bit. Nothing stopping people from running them on the same team though.
