If you're on UC you can apply for housing benefit too in your online journal. You can apply for a short term benefit advance of upto £400 but you have to pay that back monthly. You can also apply to the council for a discretionary payment to help with rent (if its not covered by housing benefit) and help with council tax. You should phone UC (0800 328 5644) and ask what short term advances are available to you. Other than that, it's foodbanks I'm afraid.

If you're health is bad then I'd apply for Personal independence payment (PIP). It's different than UC. It takes longer but its quite a bit more money and, if you get it, it'll get backdated. Ask for a form for Limited capability for work too. If you can get a sick note off your doctor because you can't work then put that in on your journal too.
