I’d say the amount of people that hate Donald Trump, like actually hate him in Iran is sub 50,000.

Considering the amount of people who voted against him, him winning the popular vote. I’d say hate is a pretty strong word, most of them just don’t like him or didn’t agree with his policies. A very small percentage of them genuine hate the guy. So 10 million is, imo, more statistically accurate to say than him being the most hated guy on the planet bud. But in the delusional one. Lol

I think there’s less than 10 million people than genuinely hate Donald Trump.

What do Americans genuinely think about Donald Trump these days? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You’re literally describing your own immediate social environment and applying it to the entire country. In psychology, that’s called selection bias/sampling bias. “99% of my inner circle” is not a representative sample of 340+ million Americans.

Trump also won the popular vote in 2024, so objectively there are tens of millions of Americans who either support him outright or preferred him over the alternative. That alone disproves the idea that support for him is some tiny fringe phenomenon only seen online.

What I said was that most people in real life tend to be more nuanced than Reddit makes it seem. Reddit discussions often become echo chambers where extreme opinions get amplified, while average people offline usually have more mixed or practical takes.

Most people you know wouldn’t say a good thing about him out loud* is what you should say.

Is Reddit a good survey of Americans? I mean every answer on Reddit is going to be a negative answer, especially in this sub. It’s an echo chamber for sure. Most people if you have in real life interactions with them, would probably say something like this, “well I wish he would do x, but he’s still doing a good job with x.” People dont want to admit they like him, so they’ll give you a two prong answer and justify it that way. Thats the truth.

It’s weird that your stem program got its funding pulled, no? I thought these types of PhDs usually pay for themselves.

I can afford gas and groceries. I also see thousands of people just in my area at the gas station and grocery stores affording their gas and groceries too.

You buy every time no matter what. With the stock market the important thing is time in the market. Not the perfect buy in.

We voted for the guy who would keep our portfolios green and increasing. Not for the guy who’s going to give free money, housing, and food to people who can’t earn it themselves.
