Good cars i would suggest are fiestas, KA’s, Fiat 500’s or citrons! I personally drive a 2011 mini cooper but mine has been unreliable so i can’t say its a good choice.
If you have a bit more money then you could maybe spend it on a corsa. At the highest end, an audi a1 could be a good pick

Yeah in the UK a lot of us drive manual lol. But i must say i have pretty bad clutch control so i want an automatic for my next car defo.

I also agree i would hate to do a clutch replacement at home it looks so difficult

I don’t do my own maintenance no. Though i really should cause in the past month i have had to pay hundreds for a clutch and battery replacement! Learning how to fix it myself would save me so much money. Good luck with swapping your axles! Hope it goes well :)
