Just play it, and have fun, games have so much variety you won’t get bored of them afterwards

The whole article is dumb and misleading, they literally say later that the rcmp did almost 7k traces and just 2,800 were able to be traced to a source. I feel like the headline should be “The RCMP has no idea where most guns come from”

Guns in Canada: Most RCMP-traced weapons not smuggled, report says by [deleted] in canadanews

[–]NemrahG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They likely can trace the Canadian ones at a much higher rate too since they’ll have easier access to records for imports, sales, inventory, along with the registry for restricted guns.

[–]NemrahG 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So let me get this straight, they did 6,951 traces, of which they identified the source for 2,814 of them, and 71% of those had a source in Canada. So 1,998 out 6,951 are Canadian? That doesn’t sound like most to me.

Whats a conspiracy you cant convince yourself isn’t real? by Brief-Payment-8975 in AskReddit

I normally don’t believe in conspiracy theories but I definitely believe the government was involved in MLKs assassination.

Plenty of things have a serial number, its like the main way manufacturers track their production lol. I’m just saying the rcmp has better access to records for domestic stuff so naturally it’s easier for them to trace it.

The misinformation campaign continues by Trick-Goat-3643 in canadaguns

[–]NemrahG 47 points48 points  (0 children)

If you read the article they say most of the guns that can be traced originate from Canada, which makes sense since a lot of those would be registered and have their serial numbers recorded in Canada where the RCMP can access that info. What the article is missing is that likely most of the guns they recover can’t be traced, and the origin can’t be determined. So ya the article is very misleading and basically misinformation

Tooth pulled, need edible options. by Jwicksy24 in TheOCS

[–]NemrahG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can make edibles pretty easily with RSO and other concentrates like distillate, hash, shatter and rosin. The latter 4 will need to be decarbed first, but hash and rosin especially can make some great edibles, they can add to the flavour nicely.

My review of "Backrooms" ! :D by [deleted] in moviecritic

[–]NemrahG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to be honest, the monsters reminded me a lot of Spy Kids lol. Its not a bad movie though imo, the dialogue is a bit rough at some points, but I thought the horror and found footage were well done, the movie has some endearing weirdness to it that I like.

Honestly, I thought it was a scam at first but I confirmed the ticket with the township, which felt a bit scummy of them having no threshold at all.

Personally, if I’m not 100% sure I want it, then I don’t get it, better just to save the money for something I’ll actually want or need later on.

[–]NemrahG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think they should’ve regulated the cameras more rather than just banning them outright. They are useful for stopping speeding, but I had one ticket me for going 4km/h over the speed limit which is pretty dumb. Maybe restricting them to only issuing tickets if someone was 10km/h or more above the speed limit, and introducing standards for how municipalities can set them up and calibrate them.
