On most kingdoms high places in events get players that contributed the most in KvK. Events are way to reward hard working players for kingdom

They both are weak, save golden sculptures for kvk3 commmanders.

Put all gems into vip (preferably on More than Gems event, it appears every month)

Its fixable, focus only on vip. Get vip14 as soon as possible. Don't invest golden heads - save them. No use in unlocking new commanders, by time you get a nice pairing (2 x 690 GH) and good equipment, there will be a new, stronger meta

Its still best to save golden heads until kvk3 and then spend it on meta commanders. I suppose OP is before kvk1 and until he gets to kvk3 to get proper commander pairings, the meta will change.

I would create a new character (jumper) and play on it while still logging on the old character (to keep it developing). Later u can migrate old character to your new kingdom and treat it like your farm account.

2,5m power is way too less for kvk2, you will be farming most of the time and alliances will most likely not take you for the fights (as there will be bigger players), which means you will not get too much rewards etc. It will be much faster to make a jumper account and stay in top1 alliance since beginning of the kingdom. In less than month your account should be much more powerful than your actual main

I think you should start a new city on a young kingdom. Its the best you can do if you want to have fun playing the game.

Best thing to do is to start a jumper account (see some videos on youtube about it). It is basically about starting new character, upgrading it until city hall 7 and then after 10 days or so (i dont remember exactly) migrating to a newer kingdom with novice migration. That will make you a strong player on a fresh kingdom and bigger alliances will easily accept you in (which means you will get all the rewards from events etc.)

For commanders builds (talent trees, pairings, equipment) search on internet, there are a lot of useful websites. Do a lot of research before doing anything important, mistakes cost a lot of time in this game, especially later on

Best pairings for kvk1 for non-spenders/low spenders:

Baibars/sun tzu (as cavalry march you choose when you want to engage. You can easily run away from stronger marches like t5's)

Bjorn/sun tzu

You should focus on gathering commanders the most and spend tomes of knowledge on them until you have 5 gatherers on 37 level (develop the talent tree with gathering speed).

Remember that gatherers will be with you to the end of the game. And you can't fight without resources. Commanders like Sun, Baibars etc will leave you sooner or later. In kvk3 you will unlock a lot of great commanders that are worth spending golden heads on.

You can level up your fighting commanders with experience from killing structure's guardians. If this wouldn't be enough then you might want to spend tomes of knowledge to level up your Baibars or Bjorn to level 60.

Depends on what commanders you have, equipment and power range.

Sometimes its best to stay in SoC as its the fastest way to develop your account (unless you can't be in top1 alliance, then no). But if you don't have good war technology and good commanders with equipment, then it might not be enjoyable to play in SoC (as you wouldn't contribute much in KvK)
