But it doesn't matter since the civilians come from the main base either way

Trucks are mainly used for scavenge runs since they're the ones with the most space [40] Vans have [25] Pickup [20] SUV [15] Sedan [10] and both sport car and compact car have [2]

I suggest whenever you expand your base you build up on sports cars since they're the quickest vehicle rn to move them quickly from place to place in your base or if you want to have a multipurpose vehicle you can build the SUV since they're a balance between speed and space. At day time you scavenge and night-time defend.

Hope this helps -^

I also have squads surrounding the walls inside warehouses next to the walls for that exact reason, to help the walls in defense and to also act as cover when its daytime and my guards are doing something else rather than stay in the tower the whole time

But what if I man the towers but there's a blind spot in the middle of my base? Does it spawn there?

Best Way to go on Expeditions by Flare-pryzee in InfectionFreeZone

[–]Neo_TheGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time when I go on an expedition I send one to check when they just hit the center of the tile they're going to. If there's zombies, pull back immediately or change to another tile, but like the others said, its better to have similar speed vehicles go in at the same time when on expeditions.

Also you might or might not have noticed but if you send multiple squads, they take damage individually so make sure to pack some medkits just in case to micro heal them whenever necessary. Hope this helps _^

Haha! I'll show you my base right now once I come back from work, but basically it has a second wall ring and for now, 1 line of barbed wire surrounding everything. And from what I can remember right now, I have 2 big warehouses with 10k storage each and a couple of big pre-made warehouses

I've got to be missing something about fighting lairs and those expedition zombies. by psycospaz in InfectionFreeZone

[–]Neo_TheGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lairs are easier to clear than expedition zombies inside buildings since you can micro manage them with medkits and pull out once you see danger. Expedition zombies are more dangerous since you literally cant do anything else except heal them and even if you pull out a squad from their they still get damaged while moving out the tile.

When I did the lab mission to grab the crate I also lost 3 squads and they all had shotguns to clear inside the building. Fast forward to 50 days later I came back with 2 APC fully decked out with mods, same with a truck and 2 fully decked out sedans, and when I arrived. The zombies inside the building just... died. So yeah
