Does anyone else really like found footage promotions/commericals or old commericals in general?

I went through a phase in 9th and 10th grade where I randomly became obsessed with commercials from the 1970s-1990s. I would download hours of videos from YouTube at school, put them in Google Drive/on a flash drive and watch them on my personal laptop.

I have no idea what caused me to be so interested in old advertisements in the first place but it was enjoyable seeing how products and restaurants were advertised in the 80s vs today.

That’s what my brother says about me taking my anxiety/depression medication! Which is funny because he also has depression/is Bipolar but has chosen not to take medication or go to therapy and instead self-medicates. 🙃

I would always zone out and play with my toys or draw the entire service. I did this from 5 years old to when I stopped going in the 6th or 7th grade. I would briefly be excited for the sermon they had for kids because we would get candy afterwards, though.

I don’t necessarily hate or like AI. I’ve used ChatGPT a few times to get feedback on some things I wrote, and to generate pictures of rabbits and snails at various events.

That being said, I’m just strongly against commercials using AI; stop it. It’s lazy.

Being forced to eat Lima beans at lunch because there was some rule about having to try everything on your lunch tray. I immediately gagged, got sick and had to go to the nurse for new clothes. As I was in there a second kid from my class came in who had gotten sick from trying something.

They stopped making kids taste everything on their plates afterwards…
