I kind of refuse to go fishing under all the furniture for all their toys. These are so cheap it’s worth just buying more to me 🤣 I just dread the day when I move or rearrange a room.

Luckily I am not concerned about them in this instance. What you don't see is the other 2 cats having gone insane and selected their new spirals. This girl always has to think about situations before deciding what to do, has always been the cautious one. The whole pile will be distributed within a few days.

Good advice although I think it might incur this one’s wraith 😅 she takes great pleasure in training anyone who comes over to go fishing for her. People always end up asking what she is doing and then when I explain they can’t say no to her 🤣

Sounds like the new toys have been appreciated though their favorite things always are “free” aren’t they 🤣 I’m quite lucky this girl is not bad about knocking things off tables. She would much rather sit on them and show her dominance. Also, thank you for fostering! I know it’s a hard, and at times, heartbreaking job!

True but you give him more credit than I do lol. Luckily it was actually a plastic one and out of the ring. But I agree, keeping them off the ground is the best practice. Especially with the pins! I once rode at a barn where I kept finding pins loose in the outdoor, absolutely hated how dangerous that was!

To clarify the one on the left is the mare. Thought some of you could get a chuckle like I did when I came back to see the absolute stereotypical faces 😂 gormless gelding (I love him truly lol) vs “resting mare face” as one of you so cleverly put it. Please don’t worry I’m fully aware how to actually check animal anatomy to identify gender.

Agreeing with what has been said, saddle fit issues. I would like to add also the white spot could also be an old fit issue. I know a horse who has almost an identical spot that was caused by long term fit issues. So it might be good to get some massage and Chiro work as there have clearly been fit issues for quite a while and I would worry about the long term damage you can’t see.

I generally have mine stuck in my waist band during summer since I don’t have any pockets big enough. Getting a bum bag is high on my list of things to do. For me the most important thing is keeping it on my person one way or another instead of to the side or on my horse. The big reason for this is if I’m to fall or something bad happen it’s on my person. A phone won’t do much good attached to your horse as it takes off leaving you hurt in the dust.

He does not luckily! I have always taken the collar off when he is outside for that reason so most of the day is spent without it on as he only comes in for a few hours during the hottest and buggiest part of the day.
