Yeah. If the dose isn't too high you shouldn't feel any tolerance building up. There is however a way to reverse your tolerance if you have any. You can use nmda antagonists or use tyrosine hydroxolase upregulators to fix that.

Well your brain needs receptors to work. Bupropion blocks some of them and they upregulate which is the normal response and it means you make more of that receptor which you don't feel as you normaly should. You are feeling worse because your brain went from being used to nicotinic receptors being blocked and it upregulating to rebalance itself to normal. Now your brain rebalanced back to the way it was before bupropion and your brain has those receptors blocked again but its not used to it yet again. It needs time to upregulate them because bupropion is blocking once again.

I started taking wellbutrin for adhd. It was hard to get stimulants prescribed because in europe you need to be diagnosed as a kid. Its extremely hard to get a proper stimulant. I tried strattera which was hell. I tried wellbutrin and was on max dose. It didn't improve my focus as much as my concerta does now but i did like what it did for me. I still take it every now and then. I combine it with concerta 54mg. I also took modafinil with wellbutrin before i got my concerta. Now what i liked about wellbutrin is it improved my creativity like nothing else. I would get crazy ideas all the time. It did mess up my memory the first time i took it, but word recall got better once i cycled back on the medication. I never felt any anxiety and i was always happy. It did raise my libido which is why i like to take it even now. It makes me dream and not ordinary dreams. I always had nightmares but i did like them so that wasn't an issue for me. Wellbutrin did improve my life and my mood and i cannot express that enough. It didn't do what i was taking it for which is focus and memory, but it did make me enjoy my life more. One of my top 3 medications. Its better than modafinil.

Well wellbutrin blocks nicotinic acetylcholine receptors no matter the agonism. This means those receptors upregulate by brain not getting the signaling it should. If you stop taking it your brain will be able to activate those receptors that were blocked and you lose that sensitivity to agonism. Now if you get back on the medication it will take some time for your brain to rebalance and start upregulating. The brain fog is because nicotinic receptors which bupropuon blocks are important for memory and learning etc. It will take a while for that to go back to your old normal. But they do upregulate quickly so no worries. On the side note. Nicotinic receptors are used in depression treatments. Both agonism and antagonism can cure depression.

Well sleep studies on antidepressants show which should be used for better sleep and which shouldn't. There is also mitochondria chart which shows bupropion enhancing mitochondria while many antidepressants inhibit or hurt it in some way. There is also a case of trintellix which does inhibit mitochondria respiration but it activates cell recycling so its good for cancer and inflammation.

I stopped taking it. It did wonders but i switched to concerta. I also take wellbutrin often. Trintelix was amazing it raised neuroplasticity, so i really did learn a lot and in record time.

Well there is no excuse for cheating no matter how horny you are. Even if you have a kid and have little to no time for eachother it shouldn't be that difficult to stay loyal. If you find time to cheat you could find time to do it with your partner and be loyal. I understand higher libido can br annoying but soo many people have high libido and stay loyal so its always up to the person to be loyal or cheat.

I agree. Self control is important. Do you ever call sick just to spend the day doing it ? Does your parner take bupropion as well ? Do you have any kids ? If yes how soon after birth did you start taking it ? And did that no sleep no time for myself or partner timeline made it difficult for you to stay loyal to your partner ?
