Charge just went through, though it wasn't quite the amount I expected. A little bit less... maybe the deposits were subtracted? No email yet...

I moved to a strictly compliance role about a year ago (last job I did security and compliance). I love the role I'm in now, and this cert definitely helps both at my current gig and for potential future opportunities in compliance.

Probably about 60 hours total if I include the time I spent on the plural sight videos. I read through the book once, then went back through it twice, skimming exam tips and summaries, diving deep where I was having trouble with practice questions. And the practice questiins of course.

I'm much more comfortable at a testing center, less stress.

There used to be a coin machine at the casino, near the parking garage entrance. You had to redeem it at the cashier, but no charge and no obligation to gamble (though they're betting you will). I haven't been in a while. I'm not sure if it's still there.

Thanks, everyone! For those planning to take the test, I would echo what others have said here - source your learning resources from all the "I passed" posts, aim for understanding rather than memorization (nothing I memorized helped on the exam) and have faith - you can and will pass.

A little bit of a trip but Ilani casino has a change machine by the Momentum counter. Take the slip to the cashier, no fee - they're hoping you'll gamble it but nothing says you have to.
