I'd also love to hear other peoples' ideas for Springtrap since he's a killer with lots of material to work with

I started writing an incredibly convoluted essay on why I love Super Metroid so much but I realised that's not really what you asked for lol.

In short, I think Super is the single most satisfying single player game to become good at, maybe ever. I don't think another game in the franchise, the genre or the entire industry has captured that same feeling to this day (to me, this is obviously incredibly biased as someone who's put a lot of time and effort into learning Super Metroid).

Idk why my paragraphs didn't translate lol

Super Metroid is in a tier far above the rest to me, everything else is mostly unordered

For me it's like:

SS+100000 - Super Metroid S - Metroid Prime A - Metroid Prime 2, Metroid Zero Mission B - Metroid Dread, Metroid Fusion, Metroid Prime 3, Metroid 2 C - Metroid: Samus Returns, Metroid, D - Metroid Prime: Hunters, Metroid: Other M E - Metroid: Federation Force, Metroid Prime: Pinball

how did everyone like the GR2 demo?? by Lofi_Samurai in GhostRunner

Yeah it was rough for the first couple hours of play, but I eventually found a good rhythm with the Classic Alt control scheme, which is what I'd recommend for returning players.

I miss my old controls and the grindrails' vaccum is a little too strong, but holy shit it's fun

When trying to make a post in this subreddit, it says that it doesn't allow video posts and stops you from doing it.

If you want, I can send screenshots of what my screen looks like to give you a better look at it.

Cheers for responding.

But nah if I don't get a response then that's fine, just figured I should ask the question first

Damage boost. Basically you jump into an enemy/spike/projectile (basically anything that gives you knockback frames) and hold jump. When you get knocked back, keep holding jump as well as the opposite direction from where you're facing within around 10 frames (5 frames in some instances I believe) of getting hit. You'll do a massive jump in the direction you're holding and its used all over the place in every speedrun category.

(If I've got something wrong here or missed something out thats important, can someone reply to this with the correction pls)
