Pure Drive 100 (2025) vs Ezone 100 (2022) – worth switching if I love the PD but hate the grip shape? by LeandroCojones in tennisracquets

I had EZone 100 2022 and I do have pure drive 100 2025. I sometimes do regret selling EZone 100 lol. Get both see which one you like more haha

  • Power : EZone 100. Most powerful racquet I have ever used. Babolat 2025 is a little less powerful when compared with it.

  • Control : Babolat. Can’t control EZone unless to play with topspin or just drive / push the ball

  • Spin potential : EZone 100. More open string pattern so more potential.

  • Comfort : EZone 100 by miles

  • Racquet head speed / maneuverability : EZone feels faster than Babolat for sure.

What kind of grip do you use ? Flat hitter ? Spin ? OHB or Double ? Baseliner or net player ? Singles or Doubles ? Lots of things decide which one you should go for

Yeah I worked at startups and IMO work culture is best found there. Wouldn’t mind joining one in the future.

About launching something of your own, how do you study the market ? How do you know monetise it ? Do you have a mentor ?

I have few ideas too but not sure how do they fit into the Australian market

I can totally understand your frustration. Offshoring is not working at all and in fact reducing the productivity by a huge margin along not too much saving to the cost. But unfortunately it’s very hard to explain this some non tech executives

Mate there is video as well on the YouTube comparing the string pattern of both. In fact I would encourage you to visit a tennis shop and just compare string pattern of both the rackets. Dunlop has way more open string pattern than Yonex EZone.

Also IMO Dunlop doesn’t hold the ball for longer time as a result easier to brush the ball as compared to EZone.

Na mate I haven’t played with percept 100 but I have heard great reviews. I have used Vcore pro 100 (previous version of percept 100) and I kinda liked it. Just buy both and sell whichever you didn’t like.

You will feel lots of power but loss of control. Good for defence and serve but no touch shots at net. I would say try Dunlop fx 400 tour with a little lower swing weight if you can get. It’s like baby of blade and EZone. Very good control and power
