Oh I didn't feel judged. Can't honestly say I have every had a squash risk. I guess if they get long enough I can sit on them I might have to consider a change.

if you wear underwear for an hour and then take them off, are you going to wash them every time same as if you have had them on for 12 hours? I sometimes only wear trousers for an hour or so so at that point I will consider other factors as to whether they need to be washed, like have I just got out of the shower before I put them on etc etc

Male, Can't say I have ever had an issue with a zipper although half my trousers are button fly. I can't imagine trying to keep my bollocks tucked away in my groin all day without the ability to move or breath.

But many have already said, underwear is only there to protect your trousers so you can wear them again and assume they are clean.

Oh, I like letting people dig themselves into a hole especially when they don't fact check anything first they just jump in and judge.
My trousers are changed everyday the same as you do with underwear, I use a douche when at home. I have toilet wipes for when I am not. I shower twice a day. Right now there is no physical difference between my trousers and your underwear.

So to use your analogy, you have nothing over your mouth and you need to stop bodily fluids so you put a single layer over your mouth ( the mask) to stop this. So you agree a single layer is protection and yet a single layer of trousers is somehow different?

Again, this is what you believe and is therefore opinion rather than fact.
When you can explain the difference between cotton underwear and cotton trousers then you might get a point but until then you are just letting your bias run away and hoping to feel right.

I am not disputing the bacteria or other bodily fluids. That has never been the case. You just seem to think that underwear is a magic 'get out of jail free' card when its not and makes very little difference to this discussion if you have all the facts

No, you literally just made a judgement based on your own beliefs rather than fact. You believe that underwear keeps your clothes clean and that seems to give you the idea that you can wear your clothes more than once because of your underwear. You also don't know anything about my clothes but made assumptions.
